According to new data released by market analysis company Markets IHS , Apple made it strong in 2016, holding the top spot in the ranking of the number of smartphones sold for a model. Indeed, it is the iPhone 6s that won the palm of the most sold model over the last year, while several other models of iPhone remain at the top of the ranking, along with Samsung, the number one competitor. The analysis was carried out on more than 350 different models of devices .

The iPhone 6s Plus is also among the best-selling smartphones in 2016. Apple sets the performance to keep the two iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, released in 2015, in the top ranking throughout the year, 2016, which proves impressive sales for several quarters.
