To make the Apple Watch battery last a little longer Apple thought of developing a charging bracelet system. This is evidenced by the patent recently issued by the US Office of Trademarks and Patents, and filed by Apple last year. The paper describes various systems enabling the watch to be charged while it is worn and without any connection to a source of electricity. The technical paper describes in fact two solutions for mobility recharging. The first is a kind of roller very similar to the recharge roller delivered with the watch. This roller would therefore contain energy as a nomadic battery and would be integrable to a classic bracelet. The second system described by Apple is a new kind of bracelet integrating more deeply the recharge solution. This would give an advantage from an aesthetic point of view, since the system would be completely camouflaged in the bracelet. In both cases there arises the problem of heating during recharging, which Apple would have solved by the use of a system of dissipation of the heat to avoid any burns on the arm of the user. As usual with this kind of patent, it is difficult to say whether the technologies described will be used one day by Apple.
