Generally, the Apple WWDC 2017 to be held on June 5 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose (California) will be a software presentation conference. But according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, Apple could introduce two new products along with the software.
His words indicate that there is a 50% chance that the smart speaker with Siri will be announced at the WWDC. For its part, the iPad Pro 10.5 inches would have a 70% chance.
This new iPad Pro of 10.5 inches could have a completely new design and many new features in its hardware compared to the current iPad Pro of 9.7 inches.
Will Apple Hardware present in WWDC 2017?
It is obvious that Apple will present the new versions of the operating systems of its flagship products: iOS 11, macOS 10.13, tvOS 11 and watchOS 4. For now, the details, changes and new features of the new software are unknown but there are some interesting ideas like the arrival of a Night Mode to iOS 11.
Since KGI think that Apple will announce the 10.5-inch iPad Pro during WWDC because a mass tablet production is expected during the second quarter of 2017. In addition, a 10.5-inch iPad case from an Apple-affiliated accessory company was recently leaked.
According to predictions, Apple could sell 6 million iPad Pro of 10.5 inches this year, focusing on the business and commercial market.
The 10.5-inch iPad Pro could come with no side bezels, like the iPhone 8, and a virtual home button built into the display. On the other hand, the Siri smart speaker has been said to have a great audio quality, a touch screen and could be called Siri Speaker.
It would not be the first time Apple introduced a new product at a WWDC. In 2012 the company announced the MacBook Pro Retina and in 2013 the Mac Pro.
