You might not get your hands on the iPhone 8 until 2018

If you are one of those that marked September in your calendar as a date to enjoy the brand new iPhone 8 or iPhone X or iPhone Edition, unfortunately,  we bring bad news for you. We already knew that Apple was having problems when implementing its innovations in the chain production and they were speculating with stock problems and delays, but we have always kept a little hope that it would be presented in September, although it would cost us something more to do With the most wanted iPhone of all time.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Apparently, Apple will launch in September its iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus following the wake of the current iPhone 7, that is, with small improvements as a more powerful and better battery but a similar design.

Because all the heavy artillery is saved for the iPhone 8, they will beat the copper with the Samsung Galaxy S8 or LG G6 in the battle for the most amazing terminal, however they all have a borderless screen, where the iPhone will integrate the Home button and it will stay the head to integrate the Touch ID in the best possible location. In addition, you will also have OLED technology on your screen. Of course, we also know that you will have augmented reality and inductive wireless charging. And that so many innovations have a price, which will be around 1000 euros.

But as we say, implementing so many innovations are costing more than expected to suppliers. Inserting the OLED panel is complicated. The A11 chip, smaller than usual, is also causing problems. The 3D sensor seems to be also causing delays. The same can be said of the fingerprint reader, of which we have seen controversial solutions integrating it in the back and is being erected as a whole design challenge.

According to well-known KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, it will not be until October or November when Apple enters mass production, something that generally occurs in July to arrive on time in September. So do the math and put your hands on the head: we may not see it until 2018.

Of course, the only good thing for Apple will be that it will have more time to promote better the unpromising 7s models and also increase the hype of the iPhone 8, which is estimated to be the best selling iPhone ever.
