Rumors said that Apple is running into production problems with the new editions. Reliable sources have said Apple is struggling with Touch ID as well as the front-facing 3D sensor. Rumors say Apple has been struggling to get the sensor to work properly. The sensor hardware is not the problem, but rather the software.
The rumors say Apple will likely have the 3D software working in time. But if not, the company could include the sensor in the phone anyway, and turn it on later on with a software update. Apple is purportedly trying to embed the sensor under the display but numerous sources have suggested that it won’t be working in time.
Apple has run into trouble making it work with the high degree of accuracy required. Still, the source is optimistic that this one will be perfected until launch, plus they think that Apple still has a chance of shipping the iPhone 8 with the tricky in-display finger scanner that will take the load off the 3D face recognition tech as a complementing affair.
This year, however, there will likely be an iPhone 8 announced in September but may also be delayed, in addition to the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus, and there could be so many changes to its schedule, that it seems even Apple is running into trouble putting it all together. The latest in such reporting comes from a very reliable source and they state that Apple was in a full-blown “sense of panic” last month because of the need to perfect the software that will drive the new iPhone 8 and also implemented in the iPhone 7s and 7s plus.
There have been problems also with the wireless charging. The source says that Apple isn’t using anything revolutionary but the company wants to make the process as seamless as possible, and that is turning to be an issue.
The iPhone 8 may face a storm of hardware and software problems that need to be fixed in a very short amount of time. To be fair, at the rumored $1000-$1200 starting price it better be working properly otherwise Apple will face harsh criticism from its iFans. We hope for the best and if Apple holds its reputation, the iPhone 8 10’th year anniversary model might break some sales records.
