Apple Rumors

The iPhone 7s will have these two functions of the iPhone 8

Apple plans to present three different models of its smartphone during the conference that will take place in September: an iPhone 7s, an iPhone 7s Plus and an iPhone 8.

The iPhone 8, iPhone X or iPhone Edition will be a special edition model to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the terminal. Therefore, it will have exclusive benefits.

We know some of the differences between iPhone 7s and iPhone 8, but what we did not know until now was that the iPhone 7s and the iPhone 7s Plus could have two functions for the iPhone 10th anniversary.

These are the functions of the iPhone 8 that will reach the iPhone 7s

Since Nikkei Asian Review ensure that Wistron CEO has revealed that the 5.5-inch iPhone 7s Plus will have improved water resistance (IP68) and wireless charging technology.

Wistron is a Taiwanese manufacturing company that once worked on the iPhone SE assembly, and is expected to also be one of those in charge of assembling some of the new smartphones of 2017.

“THE PROCESS OF ASSEMBLING PREVIOUS GENERATIONS OF THE IPHONE HAS NOT CHANGED MUCH, ALTHOUGH NEW FEATURES SUCH AS WATER RESISTANCE AND WIRELESS CHARGING NOW REQUIRE DIFFERENT TESTS.”

Robert Hwang, CEO of Wistron, added that water resistance will slightly alter the assembly process of the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 8 . Does this mean that Apple will eventually include water damage in the warranty?

As for the special 10th anniversary iPhone, it is speculated that it will come with a slightly curved OLED screen and a virtual home button with Touch ID function, augmented reality 3D sensors, a dual upright camera, wireless charging and new materials.

So far, according to rumors, wireless charging technology would be exclusive to the iPhone 8. It would be perfect if all models had wireless charging and IP68 water resistance. Considering the high price that the iPhone 8 is rumored to be sold for.
