The new emoji also have new faces, clothes, sports, food, dinosaurs and other mystical characters. The release notes for iOS 11.1 beta 2 don’t mention any other major new additions.

Obviously, some people are excited about the new Unicode 10 Emojis coming with iOS 11.1 beta 2 but the most important change is by far the 3D Touch Multitasking being brought back, many Apple fans have been complaining about this being removed.

The 3D Touch Multitasking feature was intentionally removed during the iOS 11 beta testing process and was not reimplemented ahead of the official iOS 11 launch, but Apple software engineering chief Craig Federighi promised it will be brought back in a future iOS 11 update.

iOS 11.1 beta 2 is currently available only for developers, but a public beta should be coming later this week. We’re still early in the beta testing process, so it’s not yet clear when iOS 11.1 will see a public release.
