Apple NewsiOS 11

iOS 11.1.2 Release Date, Expected Bug Fixes & Improvements

We know for sure that Apple is working on an update to fix the iPhone X responsivity problems in cold weather and that might be the iOS 11.1.2 update. We don’t know much about the next iOS 11.1.2 update apart from the bug fixes that we would like to see and a possible release date.

The iOS 11.1.2 release date is expected to be between next Monday¬†on the 13th of November and Wednesday the 15th. Looking back at previous iOS 11 updates that’s our best guess.

What improvements do we want to see? Well, apart from the infamous cold weather problems common with the iPhone X models there have been reports of a green line appearing on the screen of the iPhone X but that’s more likely to be a hardware problem and Apple has replaced a few devices already. If this can be fixed in the iOS 11.1.2 update it would be great but highly unlikely.

Apple is working on improving the iPhone X and the only way of doing that until a new iPhone is released is through the iOS 11 updates. Even Jony Ive confirms future changes and improvements in a recent interview with Wallpaper magazine.
