You will need an iPad running iOS 10 or later to do this. Turn your iPad to the side to enter Landscape mode and open up Safari. There are four ways to do this. The second method is tapping and holding on your tab and dragging it to the left side of the screen or to your right side of the screen. After you’ve dragged it to one of the sides, the second window will open up to the selected side, next to the first window.

The third method is pressing and holding the tab button at the top right corner of the screen. After you’ve held it for a second, the menu will appear from which you can choose Split View.

The fourth method will only work if you have the mechanical keyboard connected to your iPad. So if you have one, simply press on Command + N button to open up a Split view.

To exit Split view mode, simply press on the X icon on the tab. The desired tab will close and you will be left with one window.

It’s a very handy and cool feature for a lot of iPad users. It uses the advantage of the big screen to look at the two windows at once. To check our other tutorials, visit our Tips & Tricks section.
