How to customize Control Center in iOS 11

Apple’s newest software for iOS devices, iOS 11, has a big list of update changes. One of them is the new Control Centre which can be tuned to your preference. The main thing that’s different is the size of the new Control Centre and the ability to add more shortcuts to it. For example, you will be able to turn on/off your cellular data right from the Control Center. In this article, we will talk more about the customization and how to add more options to the Control Center.

How to add controls to Control Center in iOS 11

Open up Settings > Control Centre > Customize Controls and tap on the add button (  ). From there, you will be able to choose which controls do you want in your Control Centre. Simply press the previously mentioned green button next to the option and it will appear in the Control Centre.

How to remove controls from Control Center in iOS 11

While you are in the same settings (Customize Controls) simply tap on the remove button (  ) to remove desired controls. Remove button is placed on the left side of the control which you can also see in the picture below.

Just so you know, you won’t be able to remove these options: Airplane mode, Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio playback, Lock screen rotation, Do Not Disturb, or screen mirroring.

How to change the order of controls in Control Center in iOS 11

To do this, you will also need to go to Settings > Control Centre > Customize Controls. From there, tap and hold your finger on the desired control until it enters hover mode. Now you will just need to drag controls to the desired place in the list of Included controls.
