I have to agree, it doesn't make any sense at all. I didn't understand the rumors way back when, either. I mean, what could Facebook add to a phone to make it any better than the competiton?

He's right. There was that phone with a button that went straight to Facebook, that's about as far they should go, deep integration. Nothing else IMO...

Uh... It's called Windows Phone. Sign in with a Facebook account and you never even need an app, as nearly every single important aspect of Facebook is deeply integrated into the OS.

It's actually making me use Facebook now... (Events, friends, messages, soon I'll start using check-ins...) Though I haven't actually signed in online to the real facebook in months.

There is no need for a Facebook phone when there is Windows Phone.

But they'll probably make one anyways.

Does anybody else see the pun of 'it doesn't make sense'. Sense being the HTC software additions to android. Maybe it might take a touchwiz or a times cape for Facebook to land a phone.

Why, why, why? I could see it now; a phone that costs about 300$, where these Facebook obsessed teenagers could stay on Facebook all day. This is a waste of development. I hope this phone is never introduced into this world. Ugh..
