Zoom and Focus on iPod touch 4

Discussion in 'iPod touch' started by deleted account, Sep 11, 2010.

  1. 1) Select the still shot mode
    2) Tap an area on the screen, a box will appear.
    3) The bar at the bottom the is the zoom feature.

It's a nice feature I found out about when I was fiddling around.

We know. It's not tap to focus, it's tap for exposure.

Although digital zoom is possible (though it seems to be only available when using the rear camera), the iPod Touch 4g lens is fixed focus, so tapping an area only causes the device to automatically re-adjust the exposure.

You can get it at Costco whenever they get it, which is in about 2 weeks I'm assuming.

It has 256 Megabytes of ram and I'm not too sure about the processor speed. I think it's under-clocked. And it IS faster than the 3G.

PP the problem with the zoom is that it pixelates everything... digital zoom sucks

I second this, but the HD recording makes up for EVERYTHING! That thing is just... words can't explain the quality.

The Processor is at 800MHz, not 1GHz. The only iDevice at 1GHz is the iPad.
