I was using an iTouch 1.1.4 firmware using Ziphone 2.4 and I used the Full automatic thing ( this is on Windows btw) and it was working but then stopped. I unplugged it and I cannot restore it. On the itouch I keep gettting the message j

    BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0

when I plug it in, iTUnes doesn't detect it. How do I fix this?

Seriously man, the fix for this is posted many times. Do a search or look in the recent threads. Very simple! If I run across it I will give you a link!

This problem has come up dozens of times.

NEVER Select all of them. ONLY select Jailbreak.

To recover from BSD Root, Hold Power and Home to turn off the device.

    Unplug the iPod Touch.

WHILE HOLDING HOME Plug in your iPod Touch.

Now your iPod Touch is in Restore mode.

Go to ZiPhone and go to Advanced

UNCHECK Every Box and then click NORMAL MODE.

Right now, I'm using ZiPhone to Jailbreak AND Un-BSD Lol

    Saves so much time.

The thing I used didn't ahve any check boxes. It it was a program that said Full Automatic and I clicked it with the iTouch in and it went to a black screen that said searching for iPhone and it went through sum other sh*t and then stopped going through it and I unplugged it. There were no check boxes.

I had my ZiPhone nightmare last week and am just waiting now. 1.1.3JB was really easy this time and works perfect so no rush for me.

    Download 2.5 then.

    That has what you need.

When you download 2.5, Look at this http://www.ifans.com/forums/showpost.php?p=345773&postcount=7
