Ok this happened to me yesterday and if you have read the ziphone thread about ziphone being able to permanently mess up ur ipod you might be scared. my ipod had the codes running down the screen. well if it happened to u follow these instructions.

    1. Leave your ipod on until the battery is drained completely
    2. go to itunes then preferences and uncheck disable automatic syncing
    3. once the battery is drained hold the home button and plug in ur ipod to the computer keep holding until u see the apple logo.
    4. then u should see the connect to itunes sign
    5. itunes tells u that u have to restore, but DO NOT use your own firmware. just simply click restore and ur all good!

ZiPhone can not possibly harm an iPod lmao. Those codes are supposed to run down your screen. That's how you JAILBREAK it. Any jailbreaking method will do that.

^well that's your fault for doing something stupid like unplugging it in the middle, ziphone is just one click and wait 45 secs and it's done, no room for error there unless it's your fault

try unplugging it in the middle with iliberty and i bet it'll screw something up too

    edit: o*

If you get the BSD Root problem, there are several threads on this forum on how to fix it. And if you have the latest version of Ziphone, you shouldn't get it at all, as there is a button that says "Jailbreak only (Ipod touch supported)

Ziphone is for iPhones, but people jailbreak iPot's on it too. Just don't click the "Do It All" Button. iPhones Only.

LIES! with winpwn, if you choose the wrong settings, it will brick your ipod touch.
i at least know of one way where if you put the iphone firmware on the ipod touch, it will brick it because it screws up the boot loader.

the ipod goes, "YAY! i'm an iphone!" and the firmware goes, "shut yo mouth, foo," and won't turn the ipod on

I found if you just turn it on, let the codes run, plug it into your computer and then press "Jailbreak iPod Touch" again, and let it do its thing, it will work. At least for me that worked when i last used ZiPhone
