Alright, so when I first got my 16GB iPod Touch, I had jailbroken it the very first day, from watching an instructional video on YouTube. It worked just fine.

A few weeks later, I plugged my iPod into my OTHER comptuer, and for some reason when I unplugged it, my iPod Touch was no longer jailbroken. So, I decided I'd use the ziphone program to re-jailbreak it...

ziphone made it do that popular "major 2, minor 0" that everyone has seen before. So of course I plugged it into my original computer and restored it on iTunes.

Well, about a month later, I really wanted my iPod to be jailbroken again. So I tried ziphone again, hoping that I just did something wrong last time, but I ended up screwing it up, AGAIN. It's doing the same thing it did last time, the "major 2, minor 0" thing, but now when I plug it into my computer, iTunes doesn't even recognize it when I plug it in.

I know there are other threads about this subject, trust me, I have seriously been on this site for HOURS, reading every comment someone says about this same problem. I have tried just about everything.

So please don't leave anything saying, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!! THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER THREADS WITH THE ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!" I know there are.

But could somebody please help me? I saved up my money for over a YEAR to buy this 16GB iPod. I'm only 14 years old, and I don't want to have to save up and buy another one.
    Thanks !

force it into restore mode, by holding down the home and power buttons while they are plugged in, or holding home and plug it in while still holding home.
