I have heard many reports of people not having to restore before using this method to jailbreak their 1.1.4 iPod's. I have a 1.1.4 non jailbroken touch with iPhone apps added. Will I have to restore? Or is the restore just for previously jailbroken touch's?
    Thanks

I have a 8gb iPod if that matters

    You don't have to restore.

Just clear/fix the NVRAM (As a precaution) and then click "iPod Touch" which is next to Jailbreak.

Clear/Fix NVRAM is located in Advanced Features in ZiPhone 2.6b on Windows.

For Mac OS X, its located under the "File" drop down menu on ZiPhone 2.6b.

Clear/Fix NVRAM BEFORE you Jailbreak as a Precaution.

You should not get any errors.

But if you do get errors, they will be either "Spamming AT" or "BSD root"

In those cases, follow the first link in my Signature. Stop after Step 5.

Then use ZiPhone to boot it back into Normal Mode.

    This option is located in:

For Windows Users, Advanced Features. Make sure to UNCHECK the Checkboxes on the left.

For Mac Users, under the "Mode" drop down menu.
