I've created this thread as a way for us users to be able to tell with which model the ziphone software works with. That way those of us with models that don't work will know the wait, and not bother with ziphone until the bugs are worked out and support for devices are present. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am rather frustrated at seeing the following:
BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0 over and over and over. Also note that so far I have tried all users tips in these forums to try to get it working to no avail.....

    My specs:
    Vista Ultimate x86 (32-bit) (SP-1 RC-1 public release candiate)
    Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
    2 GB of DDR-2 SDRAM

    Ipod touch:
    model no. A1213
    Assemebled in China
    Shipping firmware 1.1.1

I've tried using DFU properly I might add (blank screen), and tried just an update to 1.1.3 first followed by a restore. I have tried going down to 1.1.1 to upgrade to 1.1.3 directly from that. I did not attempt any jailbreaking or anything else. I followed all the directions throughout the various tutorials and still came out with nothing but this stupid BSD error message...

How are you shutting down your ipod?
What are you checking when you use the program?
Ahh nevermind, the newer version of ziphone doesn't require you to be in recovery.

Only checking jailbreak, and verbose modes. I also get the error Ipod Stack can't start needs configuration.

I've tried shutting down by just powering off, and I've tried putting it into DFU mode as well as regular restore mode.

I have a different version of the ziphone, do you wanna try mine? Heres the link to the file : http://[PIRACY.rs].com/files/91545193/V_ZiPhoneGUI.exe.html

Btw, dfu mode messes up the process. You need regular recovery mode.
