I have a touch 2nd gen, I was just wondering, is there any Zelda game on Cydia or any app that could allow me to play a zelda game on my ipod? (wether it's 3D or 2D)

GpsPhone. It's a gameboy advance emulator. Just find the ROM for the game you want to play.
This isnt piiracy ONLY IF you own the gameboy game for the rom you get.

Even if you own the game cartridge it's still piracy. Unless you yourself rip the ROM, it's illegal (not sure about this last statement).

Anyways gPSPhone for gba, there is an N64 emu that should run on anything higher than an iPhone 3G (iPod Touch 2g, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3g) but I'm not sure about that either because I've not used it. We do have a section (here) dedicated to emulation, although it's pretty unloved. Look around there.

a zelda game that is no longer in stores shouldn't be piracy either, since the makers aren't making money off them anymore

I remember seeing on Nintendo's website that any ROM is illegal but other places I've seen that if you make it yourself its okay. Basically the problem is you can play a game on infinite systems simultaneously as opposed to x amount of games for x amount of systems.

Have you tried Zenonia (1 or 2) from the App store? It's as close to the SNES/GBA zelda game as you are ever going to get....and it is legal.
