iOS 4.0 youtube app broken?

    So ever since youtube came out with its' new mobile site youtube mobile my youtube app has not been working. it comes up with the message, "cannot connect to youtube" even though i have wifi... anyone else having similar issues. the mobile site does work, and i kinda like to better....

    yeah, the mobile site doesnt look any different to me either.

    I haven't had any issues, but I've only used it 2 times since the new Youtube site came out.

    I prefer the site. But the two time i used it it worked great.

    dang idk what the issue is, tried it again couple of days later and same thing, will not work.

    Did you try powering off and back on your device? If that doesn't work, you can restore your device if you're that concerned about it.

    yes i did. i'm not super concerned about it, but kinda wondering why it quit working randomly one day.

    Maybe Youtube found away around the forced Youtube app and they want you to use the webapp which is better imo anyway.

    Restoring should be the fix.Sometimes your iPod may get some "annoying or unpleasant" bugs while upgrading.Restoring should fix.It may take 30 mins to restore everything to its original settings (removing bugs) but at least it works

    Ya no it was working fine on my iPhone 2g updated to iOS 4.0 now it is saying cannot connect it is youtube's problem
