Any reason why the accelerometer is ignored when using YouTube? Would be great if you could play videos in portrait mode when docked, like my Nokia 5800 can do.

Also due to my Belkin case, it's more convenient for me to use my Touch with my home button on the left. YouTube only works with it on the right, why?

because Apple made it so that youtube isn't as important as safari.
They only want safari to shine, the only reason youtube is even on your device is because of all the requests.

I like the volume buttons better on my down right hand side..I really don't know why but I like it better with the home button on the right. And you can't rotate it unless you find some way of playing them in the .mov player it has built in safari. So in other words, you can't rotate it.

I still get annoyed by the fact that YouTube can't flip the videos tho.

Music videos can be played in portrait mode.

BBC iPlayer can be rotated the other way as well..
