I restored my iPod today with a backup that had been made just today. No problem, right? Well, it doesn't say 'Purchased' in the app store. I have tried Blackjack World Pro, Battle Bears, Rope 'n' Fly 2, and iDork. I find it funny how they didn't charge me again for the 3.0 update. I checked my download history in iTunes and everything is there.

Seriously, if this is how Apple works, how is it possible I haven't heard about this before.

Help me, if it's even possible, please.

Yes, I have bought all the apps I said above. I am 100% sure. I was just playing them last night.

    Hmmm. Try reauthorizing your account.

They weren't synced into your iTunes library?

How do I authorize my account? I might have already done it, but I'm not sure.

@clee, apparently not. I guess I never really thought about it because, well, who expects something like this to happen?

Ok, I did the deactivate and reactivate thing. I'm in the app store right now on iDork. It still says 'Buy App.'
