itunes tells me one of my apps is ready for an update. So I update it and sync my touch. But it shows and error when sync is complete and the newly updated app isn't working. itunes also shows me i have 12 available app updates, but when i click on check for updates, i get 0. What do you think is wrong?
    Thanks for the help.

i dont know about the error but the 12 available updates might be because you use multiple accounts? if so.. your logged into an account which hasnt download the apps that need updating.. i would log into anyother account you have and press check for updates again

    Yup

My computer is authorized, and I only have 1 account. Also, this never used to be a problem. It's only recently

Yes, I've had this happen before. Not sure why (other than likely a bug with the current firmware). Whenever this happens, I just sync the apps once again and resolves any issues.

I had a simular problem and this is what apple told me to do and it worked....

Try running a disk check to make sure there isn't a filing system error....

Open My computer and right click on your c: drive, select...

Properties - tools - error checking.
Check both the boxes. The check starts on the next reboot and can take a while.

I uninstalled both iTunes and Quicktime and then went to apple and got the latest version and everything is back to working fine...
