I updated to 1.1.3 and bought the app pack from itune. 1 day after I downgraded to 1.1.1 and JB to 1.1.2.
then I updated again to 1.1.3 on another computer. On the new computer I was asked to pay again if I wanted to have the app pack. I just activate my itune account on the new computer and created a folder called Mobile Applications in the hidden file where is itune (documents and settings/..../application data/apple computer/itunes/) and I pasted the iPod touch App Pack 4A93.ipa file into it.
restart itune and sync the ipod and I have the app pack installed.

The only limitation is that you can only activate 5 computer with one itune account. So if you have 4 friends dying of trying the 1.1.3 with app pack this is one way while waiting for the complete jailbreak. Of course I think you need the ipa file that correspond to the itune account.

i think it's not right what you say.

i think that itunes send the serial number of the first 1.1.3 ipod touch that has been synch with apps. it allows you to instal apps only on the first time synch ipod. in your case it was the same one in your pc and than on the other one. with the same serial number.

try a different ipod and let us know.

interesting. but before i pasted the .ipa file on the new computer I couldn't install the app pack. Itune was asking me to pay again. so it means that itune didn't check the ipod.
i think you only need the itune account and the certificate file that correspond to the account
I wish I could try with another ipod touch but I only have one.

i think simonrichards150 is right. you have to try to do this with other ipods, not just urs on different computers
