I've seen a lot of people going on about how the new firmware and how it's digitally signed and stuff..
    Well, 1.2/2.0 isn't watermarked.

I can't wait to see the responses for this one..

so I want to see the Dev teams' evidence of this and their reasoning, the firmware has to somehow be tied to your Apple ID or Developer account... Xcode asks for your Product ID before setting it up.

I'm sure theirs isn't tied to an Enterprise account, considering they had it before any enterprise did.
As far as I know, it hasn't been distributed yet.
Engadget and numerous other blogs have it, but they probably have some connection to the Dev Team.

Does that mean that they are uploading the software somewhere? WHy did they link to the piratebay?

Someone will probably upload it there soon.
Of course, not a Dev Team member, just someone lucky enough to have it.
I'm hoping the decryption key is released at the same time, then we can mess with it on our iPods.

if this isn't linked, why isn't there a ******* out yet?

the decryption keys would allow for us to atleast get another soft update up until a standard Jailbreak works...

i guess guys the DEV team is lying or maybe they are from Apple so they can use hacks to make people more interested in their product and more popular.

That sentence makes no sense but it's linked because everybody checks there, and if it ever leaked, it could easily be found there.
And most likely, we'll have to see though.
What would be better is a NateTrue-like jailbreak; decrypt it and convert it to a standard image, jailbreak it, then flash it using interactive restore mode.
The only problem for us would be patching SpringBoard so that it doesn't think it's an iPhone, just like NateTrue's.

I think we can handle that.
