So I fully understand that when the battery dies on the ipod on 4.0 and when you charge it a yellow screen pops up. But now my ipod wont even boot. Ive had my ipod plugged into my computer for like 10 minutes now. Tried reseting it still wont boot. Time to restore guys? Or give it more time. Let me know.

wait more than 10 min. Don't be so impatient. Just wait an hour and tell us.

    Same Kinda Problem

Hi, I seem to have a rare case of the Yellow Screen problem...

My iPod Touch, running 4.0 and jailbroken, stays on the yellow screen for about 5 mins and then reboots normally and everything is fine except for the fact that it doesn't charge and doesn't connect to the computer AT ALL!!!!

As of yet I have tried EVERY single method to fix this problem but it still persists, and stays at 10% battery...If anyone knows any way to fix this problem (with a different method to others mentioned) then that would be a HUGE help!!!

NOTE: The computer doesn't recognize the iPod at all, so I cannot restore using iTunes...?

    Any help? Thanks!

@miithewii - No, I have tried DFU mode but it doesn't do anything, it just makes it go back to the yellow screen...I have also tried recovery mode but that does the same thing...
