Hey everybody. I just read about xWinPwn, decided to give it a try. I download it, create the custom firmware, and then start the pwnage. I follow the steps, opening iTunes and putting my iTouch into DFU mode. I restore to the custom one, but everytime it comes up with the error:
iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred error (6).
I restored to the original 2.0, it works just fine. Any ideas?

EDIT: I tried changing USB ports, restarting iTunes, and restarting my computer. I have tried this several times, and I really wanna be able to show it to my YouTube viewers =(

you haven't put it in DFU mode right...the method you put it in matters....

use the itunes method eg wait till it dispears from itunes then hold home etc.

could you use ziphone (yuck) or iliberty to put it in dfu, then you close all that and put your dfu ipod aside and go through the steps? would that work?
