I smiled at the cartoon but was also saddened by the truth.

iPhone app censorship is over the top and needs to stop.

Did you guys know that the original developer of the facebook app quit developing the facebook app because he was frustrated by the app store?

    http://www.engadget.com/2009/11/12/facebook-app-developer-rejects-app-store-irony-ensues/

Rejecting fart apps while it was still not acceptable was understandable in the way that apple didnt intend crapwares to flood their app store market and didnt want bad reputation and so was the same case for porn apps.

However, recent cases of rejecting innovatives apps for most obscure reasons they can possibly have is no longer acceptable. How succesful was apple in sorting out crapwares any ways? You see hundreds of those fart apps and sound grenades and same old Racing, kingdom, warfare, space ship, epic pets games. Meanwhile they reject this cool 8-bit art gallery app (forgot its name) for having public figures in them, and reject podcaster and mailwrangler for 'Copying the functionality of the iPhone?" How and who the hell accepted the emoji apps then? Why didnt Apple inform any of the customers that emoji is built into the iPhone OS?

Apple's arrogancy has struck the ceiling but shows no sign of descent due to many ignorant people who doesn't care about such things happening. I am not blaming such people because I get that they have a life and could care less whether they had a ninja dictionary with violent words in them (Also rejected) but I am just saying that to make difference, we need to unite as a whole.

Oh and about the Droid vs iPhone thing, I think Android is a great OS but its just doesn't have the support of massive software libraries of the App Store (which has its own problems as mentioned above) I do love the freedom to tweak though. When you know how to tweak the Android to the max (like enable multi touch) it can overpower iPhone in my opinion, however, the sad fact is I still have a whole lot of classmates who just doesnt get the meaning of jailbreaking. Most don't even care and some other wants me to install pirated apps on it (No that is not the point of jailbreaking!)

I really hope Cydia store will grow up to be our true weapon against the tyranny of the app store which means, we need a better interface than just a list of Cydia Store apps.

My mum has a HTC Hero, and it was really really bad... The UI was laggy and everything just didn't gel. And then they released a FW update for it, and it's so much better now. I still don't think it's an iPhone killer... No Android phone is yet, but I like the idea of having a dashboard with widgets and apps on it.

I think that Android on the whole will top the iPhone. There's about 15 phones with Android being released now or by the end of the year. I, for one, am going to Android.

Hmmm, wonder when the Droid will be released in Malaysia... If it does, it will be a worthy competitor to the iPhone, that's for sure...

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the iPhone and prefer the iPod touch actually... I'm still a loyal user of the more straight-forward Sony Ericsson phones instead! :D

Wow, the front page must have been really desperate for news. Oh wait, this isn't news and it's not really important. I also don't like that you put such a highly opinionated message on the front page. I didn't know that's the look that Bobby wanted people to see from this site. The comic was nice but Off-topic or Competitors would have been a better section in my opinion. I bet a lot of people here would agree.
