So, is development to continue? :) I hope so. Wishlist:

Utilize redj0hnny, which now has statically linked libusb, thus portable, thus no installing libusb.
    Flash drive portable booter
    Simple, one click interface.

    Thanks.

hey brewstermax, would you mind explaining the concept of a portable jailbreak? You mentioned a flash drive, but wouldnt u need a computer for that anyways, or would the flash drive plug into the ipod? I'm confused. Thanks

The idea, is that with statically linked LibUSB, you don't have to install, so just could place it on a flash drive, and plug that flash drive into a computer, and boot the iPod in a few seconds. Not as good as untethered, or even a dongle, but with the mass of computers that we are surrounded by daily, it is nearly perfect. Plug flash drive, plug iPod, launch portable booter, DFU iPod, boot, unplug all, run away. Very easy. I love the dongle idea, but until mass production comes, I can't feasibly make one.

WTF Andy. You are killing me. Has development rebegun, or are you teasing me?

This would be exceptionally convenient, as right now, having the only tethered jb at my school, my computer is really the only one that has the necessary files(.ipsw's, redsn0w) but with the portable any computer would do? And xiphone could potentially do this?
