Just a question: Is there a plugin in XCode that allows you to include the ability read/write to an iPhone thats connected through USB?

I highly doubt that Apple would allow that. To be able to read and write the contents of the Root partition? Or just the Media partition? Because many Apps can read and write from the Media Partition already.

If you're using xcode, then you have a mac. In that case, just install the AFP daemon from Cydia. That's Apple Filing Protocol. Once installed, you'll be able to access your phone by using Finder.

Or, the more common approach is to just install OpenSSH, also from within Cydia, to access your device from any SFTP client. Naturally, OpenSSH also supports SSH and SCP.
