I have an iPod Touch with firmware 2.1, and Xcode version 3.1 with the latest official SDK from Apple. I am trying to get some of their sample apps to compile and debug on the iPod, but can't. Xcode will not detect that my iPod even exists. It will not detect it either in jailbroken or unjailbroken states.

I've done the little Info.plist hack to get it to compile without requiring the official certificate. The app compiles, but then complains that there is no provisioned device attached to the computer.

I mainly want to use Xcode so I can hit debug & go for remote debugging on the iPod. Is this possible? Can someone help my iPod and Xcode find each other?

Fixed. I don't know why, but after a few restores and rejailbreaking my iPod, its fixed and detected in Xcode.
