Shouldn't Apple make a better method for people like me to get xCode. My internet crashes like crazy and the 2.9 GB file takes a LONG time to download on my speeds. I wish they would put it in pieces for people with bad internet connections.

    Anyone else think so?

Yeah, but it helps people with bad internet so that they can get pieces before internet shuts down.

They could set up a ******* for it like ubuntu. I highly doubt it will ever happen though.

I love *******s, that is how I get most of my Linux distro's.

Apple wouldn't do that though, so it kinda frustrates me.

Yeah, I was in a similar situation myself but I just used Firefox to pause the download whenever I needed to. It resumed fine afterwards.

However, if you are only going to be using Xcode for Mac apps, it already comes bundled on the Snow Leopard disc. You only need to download it again if you want to use it for iPhone development.

(Which I also think is really dumb, why not let us download it as an add-on rather than having to download the ENTIRE SDK all over again)

Yeah, well I need it for iOS development.
    So I don't know.
