    Okay, you'll need:

    http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows-Pc/dp/B000HZFCT2

and you'll need to make a dock connector that has a female usb plug (or a female to female usb cord if that would even work?)
    Here's a pinout: http://pinouts.ru/PortableDevices/ipod_pinout.shtml

Then you'll just need to write a driver for the Xbox usb connector to interface with an xbox controller and the proper iOS modifications for it to accept the input from the controller.

    Better get started, satanixxx!

But for a PS3 controller to be used with a device, it has to be Synced via USB, which is a big big problem since there isn't a Type B USB to 30 Pin connector, and even if there was, iPod wouldn't know what the hell it is without the support of a custom BTstack, or maybe even a mobile substrate plugin.
