Alright.. I screwed up.. On my xbox I used a American Express gift card to buy xbox live.. But then they saved my card. That was 3 months ago.. Now the 3 months is up and I didn't realize that I had set automatic renewal to ON.. So basically they want to charge $19.99 to a credit card that doesn't have a balance. I can't cancel the card because when I try to remove the payment method it wont let me.. It says I have an outstanding balance...

How can I fix this? I don't want them to ban my account...

You have to ring them up to remove it. Either that or I think you can just buy a game card and use that to pay for your Live. I'm pretty sure that cancels the renewal.

you can login to xbox live at www.xbox.com and edit your billing information and add also another valid creditcard and take the new one for the pay and after that you can remove the old

All better... I just had to add another credit card and switch the payment info over to it...

No how do I turn automatic renewal OFF? I don't need this happening again..

Just do a 1month subscribtion and it will just take the money for 1 month.
