xbox emulator?

    has anyone tried making the xbox emulator for ipod? i think torok was the game that worked. was just thinking no that wouldnt work. but what about remote desktoping modding onto a computer that has it. wouldnt that be possible?

    I dont know but the game will have to take a lot of room.

    1. It would kill your iPod's battery in about 10 minutes.
    2. It'd be unplayably slow (1fps max).
    3. VNSea is too slow (refresh rate).
    4. Controls would be impossible.
    5. There's not enough space for games (at least 1gb each, I'd say).

    yeah, as far as i remember from my xbox modding days, that xbox games were around 8 gigs in size, but thats full, they can always be cut down into a simpler version

    first off emulators on the ipod never were made to control well, the point of them was proof of concept

    why do ppl always think this is possible....the xbox is a giant console, with OKAY graphics, it is definatley not going on the ipod. NOT POSSIBLE. NOT EVEN CLOSE. if it happends then why dont we just go and port PS3 with Blu Ray built in? ppl think console games run off of magical parts..wtf

    i had the same question some time ago..they answered me with much sarcasm..

    you need around 10x the speed to emulate something. the ipod has only ~600 MHz

    emulating n64 is difficult (90 MHz) , xbox would be a really slow slideshow.

    yes i know it would be slow, but once again it is concept. not quality at all
