xbox 360 harddrive

  1. Is a harddrive really necessary for games such as call of duty and halo? well i actually need it to play it or i can get by with out buying one?

    If you want to save games you need to get a memory card or harddrive. Also if you want to play on xbox live you need a hard drive. If you need the necessities (single player gaming, no media) then yes i think it's theoretically possible to get by but if you actually like playing games and playing online then saving up for the premium is your best bet.

    Get the premium thingy.
    That way you can download map packs.
    Go on XBOX Live , download demo's , and everything else.
    It's much better.

    agreed w. o a hdd u cant save games unless u buy a memory card. get a hdd it is sooo much better. u get xbl, map packs (especially hte new halo recon) theams. amd a bunce of otehr great stuff

    if you don't have a hard drive you don't get the full xbox 360 experience and if you don't get that what's the point?
  6. doesnt the xbox have some sort of harddrive you can save on though without buying a mem card or a hdd?

    no the 360 has no internal hard drive space
