All I want to know how to do is hack it. And of course exploit the framework and maybe run my own server and take over the world.

But I can't have everything. So I've searched on google and what would be the best method? Anyone want to "teach" me. Feel free.

I've downloaded how to mod your xbox360 for dumies. Would that help?

Playing "burned" games does not always equal piracy. Maybe he wants to play copies of games he already owns? Nothing wrong with that. I have copies of all my wii games on an external drive so they load faster and I always have an intact playable copy so if something happens to one I don't have to waste my money to replace it. Games are expensive and easily damaged.

So you want to JTAG your xbox? (not illegal, but does void your warranty, as is flashing the drive for pirated games, but as soon as you put a game in you don't own you have broken the law) There is no easy way, it involves soldering etc, and also knowing what mobo your xbox has would be helpful.

Most importantly, you need an xbox that doesn't have the new dashboard on it (If you have the Summer 09 update you can't JTAG the xbox) If you have applied this update you're screwed, it fixes the exploit.

And if you plan on making your own servers with hacks etc, you will be banned very quickly

, and the xbox itself will be banned pretty much as soon as you connect it to live, if its JTAG'd it sends a bad response to M$ and gets you flagged for a ban.

Just find out what mobo your xbox has, and google "MOBOHERE JTAG tutorial".

Or just check out the forums here:

    Great place for help

That's only for playing copied games. You can do SO much more with jtag, but it is rather hard to find an xbox with the old dashboard anymore.

Exactly. Modding the DVD firmware is much easier.
