    Hi,

would i be able to get an adapter or something to be able to plug my xbox 360 controller into my macbook?

its just easier (more fun) playing with a controller... i fail with a keyboard + track pad!

    Thanx!

Well, try and plug it in, if its wired, into the USB slot. If its wireless, you will automatically need a Microsoft Wireless Gaming Receiver

This is used to connect a wireless controller to a windows based computer.

I was wondering if it would work with your mac straight out of the box? It your running Windows on you mac, then it will work.

If your running OSX, then download this >>> http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/24762/xbox-360-controller-driver

its not wired, but i have got a 'plug-in & play' thing, but apparently that cant transfer data. i could buy a wired controller if i needed to though.

    thanx

How about a PS3 controller? I think I researched it a while back and there wasn't any way to successfully do it on Mac OSX, but I wish there was.

Made a long time ago, works pretty decent tho. You'll need to plug it in via usb.
