So I just got a brand new Xbox and flat screen and I noticed that while playing games the audio seems to cut out every 10 minutes or so. But once I put the games on the hard drive it wasnt as noticeable. Why is this. Im using an HDMI cable on a 720p TV I havent tried it with the regular AV cables on HD mode. But I have unplugged the cables and replugged them in...What do I do.

Does the HDMI cable you bought carry sound. Some cheaper cables are older versions of HDMI. Also what type of 360 did you get and what kind of tv. Try changing to another HDMI port if you have another on the tv, it may be defective

Yeah he said brand new 360, that shouldnt be the problem nor should he tear apart a brand new console.

Well, 360's are renound for being tempremental, he might have a faulty drive, if it is new, wait a little while and send it off to M$ to get it fixed if you can go without the box for a week or two.

Everything that is made can have some sort of defect no matter how new it is. And you do have to remember it is from Microsoft. So you know how that goes.

But yeah let us know if you fix your problem : )
