And renting out that place for WWDC isn't cheap either, not that Apple can't afford it, but it's nice to make extra money back
Considering Apple has already unveiled Mountain Lion a while back, the keynote should probably only show hardware stuff.
It took two hours to sell all the tickets? Compared to previous events and Google I/O... two hours is rather long, both events usually sell out in less than an hour last Google event sold out in just 41 minutes, and one WWDC sold out in just over 20 minutes if I'm not mistaken.
It's because Apple stupidly announced the event early in the morning when most secs are asleep on the west coast. And yet they are based in California...
For you people hoping for an iPod Touch, don't get your hopes up to high. It is very unlikely apple will release a new ipod at wwdc.
