Anyone know why my battery went from 61% to 0% overnight in 10hours?

I was sure nothing was running besides phone.

This is not the first time it happened. This is the second time, don't know why though...

    Anyone experiencing this problem?

I mean it just happens randomly.
    It's on software 4.0.1, and it's unlocked.

I think you may have a faulty battery. Send it into Apple but make sure you restore to wipe any traces of a jailbreak first.

its only faulty if it goes down even faster when using it.

Well the thing is that I don't get why it suddenly drains at times.

I got this phone off eBay mint condition.

The problem is the average drain is 8-10% overnight, but now it's 61% overnight just today. Idk why... And than it never happened after this.

I have 2 year warranty when I got it off eBay. iPhone 3GS $285 Mint condition with 2 year warranty until July 23 2012...

How good was the rating of the seller. I would take it to the Apple store, they may have sold it with the battery issue but did not want to mention it.

The rating of the seller was 100% and 233 feedbacks

I guess I'll wait for 4.2 to come out and see if it fixes the battery problem...

I would try restoring, that fixed a battery drain problem I had.
