WTF

    Alright so i have a 4gb Nano 3rd gen, and its like frozen it only boots to the apple logo, itunes wont reset it, it starts but never goes anywhere.

    Oh no... wait. Ummm...

    try connect to itunes and see what happens.

    I plug into usb and open itunes, nothing happens, so i hold menu and select and the logo dissapirs the re, then dis then it says ipod needs to be recovered it begins the process then (at this time the logo is gone) the logo pops back up and nothing, i tried with 8.2 and 7.0.

    hold the menu and center button untill it turns off, then connect to itunes

    The only way to turn it off, is to let it try n restore and when it ask to continue i disconnect it and it stays off. If i plug it back in it asks to restore starts and never finishes it just dissapears, and the apple logo is on the screen and the back light is set to low.
    I could hold the power and select for hours and it still not turn off.

    Simple, take it to the apple store lol + Don't think you'll get much help on the iPhone section of the forums...

    Yeah im sorry i just realized i had it posted in the iPhone section. Well i don't live anywhere near a apple store, so i just decided to smash the iPod, yes i said smash it. Thanks for everyone help in trying to get it to connect n work.

    Better idea is to donate it to me. Smashing a perfectly fixable iPod makes me a saaad panda

    You know, you could have sold it for parts on eBay. I've seen them go for $150+

    Im no good at ebay, i spend too much time now with school, and caring for my father.
    The only problem was it wasent fixable, i have tried everything in the book, even stuff not listed. Apple is no help with no warranty.
