Yesterday I was on my way to skool and I put my ipt2g in my back pocket and it completely crashed. So when I pressed the power button it told me I was in safe mode, and I need to reboot to exit safe mode. Safari was working in Safe mode but when I rebooted it out of safe mode Safari stopped working. Whenever I click on safari it just says "Safari Please Wait" (it's suppost to say that), so it shows that for about 10 seconds then it takes me back to my homescreen... I've tried clicking on safari and bookmarks and neither of them will load. Plz help? and yes, my ipt2g is Jailbroken.

reboot, restore, respring, change permissions. Those are the only things to try.

I tried rebooting and respringing. But Restore would un-jailbreak it right? Because if so then ya I could pretty much guarantee that un-jailbreaking it would probably do the job but I don't want to do that.

I have found that Safari issues are a bit mystical. Mine was dead for a week before I figured out which add on was killing it.

Be careful what add ons you put on your touch. Don't just download everything, it will be harder to troubleshoot issues.

Yeah, check which Add Ons you put onto your iPod.

Try uninstalling anything that has to do with Safari in Cydia/Installer [Plugins, Add-Ons, etc...]. If it's a permissions problem, then just chmod the directory, I guess.

Go to bossprefs and click on more and fix permissions.

try unjailbreaking (if it's possible for 2G)
