"iTunes can't read the contents of the iPod "[My name]'s iPod. Go to the summary tab in iPod preferences and click Restore to restore this iPod to factory settings."

omfg. And my ipod says I have no songs. All I did was plug it into my Dad's computer at his office, and THIS happens. You might answer with "Meh, just go restore it." Well, I bought a lot of albums on it, and it would be an effing waste. Please help me out here, I don't what the hell happened. Everything else (the apps) was fine.

The only thing I presume is that it got corrupted somehow. Maybe it was the computer, maybe it was the amount of apps I have. (3 pages, no skip last row) Please help me out, I have to go soon!

My, my, you're hilarious. Maybe I'll pm a mod or something, because the only reply I got is from some immature brat. I want a serious reply here.

Do you have the albums? If you bought them physicly or through somthing like iTunes all is not lost, take will take abit of time re sync.

When you get a chance try to see if the computer you jailbrock with can read from your ipod.

if all you did was connect your ipod to a computer it shouldnt wipe your songs, hmm...

PS: jawad, thats not really helping

    Thanks for replying.
-I meant that I bought them from the iTunes Store on the iPod itself. I lost 50+ dollars T.T
-THe comp I jailbreaked from couldn't read any songs!

It's baffling. I'm thinking about restoring it...

well i believe you should be able replace your songs free of charge as there is record on your iTunes account that you bought the songs. Email apple support and say what has happened ( apart from the fact your ipod is jailbroken) telling them iTunes does not read the songs and so you have lost your music. Ive stories in the past about similar things ( not ipod touch related though).

You paid for the songs so you have a right to listen to them.

It could be that restoring is a option if you cant find a fix.

Have you tried completly shutting down the ipod, not just putting it to sleep?

yeah, a lot of times. even restore mode. The reason I have to go is because of some party. A formal one. With lots of formal dancing. Don't want to go, but I have to. :/
But yeah, I'll prolly just restore now, jailbreak it all over again, and email apple later. Thanks, edmarriner.
