WTF? file sizes on iPod

    Device:
    iPhone 3G (White)
    alright, so i just synced american dad, 162mb, and south park, 102mb to my ipod touch

    it says Video 1.92GB wtf is up with that

    also this is what it says in the bottom field

    capacity 14.80GB
    audio 2.76GB
    video 1.92GB
    free space 12.62 GB

    none of that adds up correctly at all... wtf

    Well I can tell you it's basically saying you have more space than what you should actually have. Did you stop a sync? maybe the file table txt that apple initiates wrote what you were syncing and you interrupted the sync but the txt file remained the same?

    Again, I've not seen this before. You should try and just restore your ipod using the itunes restore option in your touch tab. Then sync everything again and see what happens. If it's the same thing you can always go into your folder where it stores this information and then right click, go to properties and see if it actually gives you a different file size.

    Let me know if anything changes...

    It's due to a misconversion between the Standard and Metric Megabytes. Common thing, really.
