I've been working on this the past few days.

This is currently Windows Only and isn't that complex, but it works. It has not been released yet, but will be in the near future.
    -------------------------------

The main program is redsn0w.exe, which is entitled: wRecovery (Windows Recovery).

This program handles the communication between the wRecovery Booter, wRecovery GUI (work in progress) and the iPod touch.

    -------------------------------

It is similar to iRecovery, and coded in C.

    CLI:

    Booter:

    GUI:

    -------------------------------

The "booter" is similar to 1clickboot, but includes a log feature and a "iPod Status" feature to check to see if you are in DFU.

    -------------------------------

    Release

I'm looking at releasing this in the next little bit, after more work has been put into it.

    -------------------------------

Video of the booter in action:

(it's actually quite faster then this, I just have a lot of projects open)

    -------------------------------

Hopefully more work can be done on this, please tell me what you think.

Nicely done Caleb. I would use this but I'm on Mac OS X.

Is it just a passing glance error or are you actually distributing Apple's copyrighted 2.1.1 and 2.2.1 iBSS and iBoot files?

No, those files will most likely have to be supplied on their own, and put in that folder.

I edited the post to make it a little more noticeable, hopefully that helps.

I've recoded a portion to simulate a USB reset, thanks BtbN for pointing me to usb_reset.
