Wow, my the touch in my screen is gone

    so i dropped my ipod touch yesterday, and now the touch screen doesnt work. everything else is fine, but i just cant do anything. any solutions that dont involve getting a new ipod?

    Try restoring. That's the only thing that I can think of. Might fix the problem.

    , yeah restoring will probably, well restore everything you've done.

    however, if the actual touch sensitive screen doesn't sense your touch, then you'll have to get a new one.

    yea, it doesnt recognize anything i do. im almost positive its within the touch and the sensors dont work. =/

    Dumbass as it sounds, and it really does, clean it.

    You think I'm crazy, but when my touchscreen gets dirty, sliders like with the 'brightness' are hard to actually slide. You have to be uber-precise.

    Doubt it'll work but hey.

    Oh and DFU, if that fails
