There's a ton of GB ROMs and several ICS lookalikes. There isn't any legitimate ICS ROM though. The Galaxy S II has an official leaked ROM though. *Insert more words to add to the post here*
Well thanks actually. I checked XDA last night, and an official Gingerbread ROM was released on February 1st. So it's all good, GB should be good enough for now.
This is weird. Since most of the other Galaxy S phones have fully functioning ICS ROMs, one would think the Infuse would have one too. But I don't see one.
Well, it's on Froyo right now, and it's actually quite nice. We both sat there for hours mesmerized by the beach live wallpaper. I can't begin to imagine how great ICS must be.
ICS is just awesome. The UI changes make it feel 'futuristic' to an extent, and ready for 2012, but not overdoing it to where it's lame. Along with the big new features, there's so many small things that I like that I couldn't go back to Gingerbread, let alone ever look at FroYo again. As for not looking at Android phones because I was too into iOS, I was one of those people about a year ago. I then made the plunge and bought an Android device, and I've loved it. It took a little while to get used to, and I hated it at first [my Droid 1 had WiFi connectivity issues on FroYo with my router], but once I figured it all out, I really appreciated some of the things I couldn't have in iOS, such as always being able to downgrade, updating to unofficially supported Android versions, and having a really active developer community, with many apps available on the Market. However, some of the Cydia tweaks and apps I've seen front page have made me want an iDevice again I don't think I would go back to iOS fully though.
Same here. Also Appstore>Market content wise obv but I love things about the market that the appstore doesn't have. d/l count breakdown of review ratings refunds OT: MY GOD THE iPAD 2 CAMERA IS HORRIBLE!!
I haven't used ICS yet, but I hear it's pretty amazing. So, I could agree with what you said. Well, yeah. A better question is why you're using an iPad to take pictures with?
The problem is people don't purchase flagship androids. If you are comparing someone's original droid to your iphone 4, obviously the 4 is gonna be better. Android has come a long way in the last year, especially with android 4.0. You need to level the playing field when you compare android (in terms of price). If you pit a $299 android against a $299 iphone, it is a fair comparison, but not if you are pairing the $1 android to the 4. My rezound with ICS on it murders the 4's the rest of my family has. And 4G LTE is fricking fast and the phone lasts me all day. The screen is larger with a higher DPI, CPU is better. All around a much better device.
