I don't know about you guys, but one of the things I like most about iTunes(yikes!) and my iPod as opposed to other mp3 players is play count plays a heavy role in music. It's always interesting to find that I've only played this awesome some that I used to like 2 years ago only once and then find out that I've played this new song about 80 times..

The thing is, I always need to go on iTunes to see my playcount. I thought that wouldn't it be cool if we could see our playcount directly from our iPod? I wouldn't mind if it's an app, but it'd be awesome if it was just a little featur besides the ratings or something. They have room for it... now I'm just waiting to see it happen. But I doubt it would ever.

There is (kind of) a way to do this already.
You need to make a smart playlist in iTunes with the number of songs that are on your iPod, organized by playcount. I am not sure if this updates live on your iPod, but at least you will see a list of songs from most played to least played.
