I was a little disappointed when I found out it ran the iphone os, because it really looks and acts like a giant iphone. It still looks cool, but I think it would have been more unique if it ran snow leopard. It'd obviously be a lot more if it did, so I wanted to know if you'd be willing to pay more for a better os, or if you're fine with the os it'll be running.

I would rather have os x than the "iphone os", and I would definitely pay more.

Yes. I think they should either give you an option to run OS X, dual boot, or have a sort of hybrid system. Like OSX that runs iphone apps

    We shouldn't have to.

I wouldn't even buy it if it had OS X even though I long wanted OS X on my hands.

Well, it does have iWork included and small parts of iLife. Also, the new iTunes and iPod and Mail UIs are very similar to OSX.

But that isn't really considered OS X, just software and UIs.

I agree, but it is a lot more complicated, and generally more useful than the iphone os, so if they charged more for an os x version I think it would make some sense.
