I have jailbroken my iPod Touch sucessfully using QuickFreedom, my mate cant seem to get it working for him. If he copied the custom firmware to his USB stick and then back at his house he put his ipod into recovery mode and when prompted to restore he shift+clicked and used the custom firmware copied from my computer to his USB to his computer would that be jailbroken like normal or is there something crucial that QuickFreedom will have to be used for.

    Thanks

Yes you can restore with the same firmware as many times as you want. But he must use QuickFreedom to do the Pre-jailbreak thing. I tried restoring without the pre-jailbreak thing and it didn't work.
